Rumi writes, “…whatever I try to say explaining love is embarrassing! A pen went scribbling along. When it tried to write love, it broke. ”
Yet love has probably been the inspiration for at least half the world’s poetry. It doesn’t matter how hard it is to explain exactly what we mean by love, we still strive to do so. As with so many things in life, it is not in the obtaining or arriving, it is in the trying, in the working towards that we find deepest meaning.
